About Cowboy Village Log Cabins
Cowboy Village Log Cabins is a complex of ‘old western style’ log cabins which enjoy a quiet location just a 10-minute walk from the town centre. A free ski bus stops outside, taking guests to Teton Village and Grande Targhee. The traditional log cabins are family friendly and are extremely well decorated and cosy with a log fire. There are various facilities including a hot tub and fitness room.
There is an indoor swimming pool, a heated outdoor swimming pool and for those travelling by car there are parking facilities on the complex. Guests are able to cook for themselves in the log cabins or venture into the resort centre where there are numerous eateries available to try out.
Jackson Hole is in Wyoming, and is known worldwide as a mecca for snowboarders and advanced skiers. The town is an authentic cowboy town that was used for the filming of Clint Eastwood’s ‘Any Which Way You Can’ and features the Millionaire Cowboy Bar. The town is the gateway to the Yellowstone National Park which offers a fantastic range of wildlife and the famous geysers. A good place to visit if you want a day off from skiing.
The main skiing is around the village of Teton, which is about a 25-minute trip on the free ski bus. There is the new Teton quad lift which has created 3 new pistes and access across the northern ridgeline. Jackson Hole is more suited to advanced skiers as the terrain is steep and skiers are advised to hire a guide.
Ski Accommodation
Cowboy Village Log Cabins all have a bath, shower and WC as well as a kitchenette, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, 2 ring hob, telephone, cable TV and a living area.
1-room cabins sleep 1-4 guests and have 1 queen bed or 2 queen beds (bunk style) plus a double sofa bed in living area.
2-room deluxe cabins also sleep 1-4 guests and have either 2 queen beds or 1 king bed in a bedroom and double sofa bed in living room.
Bed linen, towels and daily cleaning are included.
Meals
Cowboy Village Log Cabins offers guests a bed and breakfast board basis.
