About Hotel Wengener Hof
Set in its own grounds and only 5 minutes’ walk to the village centre, this traditionally furnished hotel offers a friendly service and fantastic views of the mountains.
Hotel Wengenerhof sleeps up to 80 guests in comfortably furnished rooms. Just 500 metres from the cable car and the mountain railway where you can travel up the heart of the Eiger.
After you have spent the day on the slopes, what better way to unwind than in a relaxing sauna or in the solarium. Throughout the hotel there is complimentary Wi-Fi access for all guests and the lounge area has a cosy log fire. Meals are served in the dining room whilst drinks are served at the bar.
The pretty village of Wengen has a traffic free centre and is ideal for family holidays. Wengen and neighbouring Grindelwald form part of the Jungfrau ski area which has 213 kms of pistes.
For breathtaking views, take the little mountain train up through the Eiger to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of Jungfraujoch where the panoramic views are not to be missed.
Skiing for beginners in Wengen is plentiful, with nursery slopes all around the village. There is unlimited scope for intermediates just above Grindelwald with plenty of relaxing runs and more testing slopes down the Kleine Scheidegg mountain. More advanced skiers can try their luck on the World Cup Downhill piste at Lauberhorn. Whatever your ability, there is skiing here for all standards.

South facing rooms have a balcony where you can admire the fantastic Jungfrau views.
