About Hotel Waldhuus

The Hotel Waldhuus sits in a unique position in the resort of Davos, located alongside an 18 hole golf course on the edge of woodland.

That means you can have direct access to a range of woodland trails, and also some impressive cross-country ski tracks for those who enjoy going off piste.

If that isn't you however then there is no need to be concerned as a winter shuttle service operates to the Jakobshorn and Parsenn funiculars so you can hit the slopes.

The hotel has undergone extensive renovation work, including the creation of a number of new rooms, which now provide stylish and spacious accommodation for visiting guests.

Fine dining in the on-site restaurant provides the chance to sample a varied range of local dishes, whilst an impressive list of facilities include an indoor pool, spa, and kids club.

Ski Accommodation

The hotel provides guests with the choice of more than 100 rooms that have undergone extensive renovation work in recent years - providing a chic and stylish base for a winter adventure in the snow. Rooms vary from classic doubles that can sleep two people to slightly larger superior and executive rooms that can sleep three. Larger family rooms and suites feature separate living and sleeping areas. All feature a balcony or terrace overlooking the golf course, cross-country ski run, mountains or the village. Rooms are equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, safe, HD TV and free WiFi.

Meals

Guests can enjoy breakfast each morning with the option to go half board and include an evening meal from the on-site restaurant, which offers a varied range of mouth-watering dishes from the local area and beyond.

About Davos, Switzerland More information

Once famous for its sanatoriums, Davos became a winter sports resort in the late 19th century. A local purchased skis from Norway; Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, whose wife was in a tuberculosis clinic, loved the sport of skiing so much he wrote about it in the London magazine The Strand and the rest, as they say, is history.
