About Hotel Sonnenalp
The Sonnenalp is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Vail that provides a stylish base from which to enjoy an American winter break.
As well as being in the centre of the village to give easy access to the local bars, shops and restaurants, the hotel is only a short walk from the slopes which means you have everything you could possibly need close at hand.
The family that owns the hotel has ensured that their Austrian heritage can be seen at all quarters to provide a unique Vail experience.
Spacious and well appointed rooms and suites can be found throughout the hotel whilst there is a plentiful supply of facilities that include a spa and wellness centre with pool, sauna and steam rooms.
There is also a fully equipped fitness centre where daily yoga and pilates classes are held.
European influences are a feature of dining time, with plenty of choices to cater for all tastes.
Ski Accommodation
The majority of accommodation at the Hotel Sonnenalp is made up of delightfully comfortable, luxury suites - with more than 100 available to book for guests alongside a handful of traditional hotel rooms - all of which come with views of Gore Creek or the village of Vail itself. Rooms can sleep up to three people, with the suites sleeping anywhere from two people to seven depending on size. Flat-screen TV, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi and bathrobers and slippers are available as standard, with the suites also having a living room with gas fireplace.
Meals
Guests can chose from a range of dining options during a stay at the Sonnenalp, from breakfast on Ludwig's Terrace to regional fare at the Stüberl or a relaxed evening meal at Bully Ranch. You could event sample top European cuisine in the Swiss Chalet - making you feel you're a world away from the USA.
