About Hotel Sassongher
This grand hotel is located in an elevated position at the base of the snow-filled mountains and stands out amongst the many other chalet hotels in the resort of Corvara.
The hotel has lots of landscape that surround it and also a parking facility and each side of the hotel has beautiful views across the resort and up the mountains.
The very impressive Hotel Sassongher has a bus stop just outside for guests to hop on the resort bus, which runs a regular service throughout the day between the resort centre and the main ski area.
The resort centre is 500 metres from the hotel, so guests do not need to go too far to enjoy the exciting evenings in the bars and restaurants, but it is far enough away, for everyone to enjoy the tranquil setting that the hotel is perfectly positioned.
Skiers and snowboarders can hop on the bus to get them to the nearest ski lift, which is 500 metres away and the ski slopes, including the nursery slopes and ski school, are approximated 1000 metres from the hotel.
Inside the hotel there is a lovely lounge area for guests to relax and unwind and there are a choice of three bars, the piano bar, the wine stube and the smokers lounge, which are a perfect place to retire to after you have had one of the delicious culinary delights that are available at a choice of 3 restaurants that each offer a different theme.
The hotel has a spa and wellness centre that offers beauty and body treatments, which are payable locally and guests staying at the hotel, have free use of the sauna, steam bath, hot tub and the hotels indoor swimming pool.
The Hotel Sassongher has been run by the same family since 1938 and it is always known for its warm hospitality and exceptional customer service

The 52 guestrooms are traditional in style and are spacious and comfortable.
Each room offers satellite TV, radio, telephone, minibar, in-room safe, en-suite bathroom with a bath or shower and a hairdryer.
