About Hotel Pollux
The Hotel Pollux is a four star hotel that is located in the heart of Zermatt, with two cable cars within a ten minute walk that grant easy access to the slopes around the Swiss village.
A ski bus stop is also positioned nearby, and which means you can head for the station of the Kleine Matterhorn.
The relaxed hotel is home to a number of different restaurants that cater for differing tastes as well as a range of facilities that include a spa and wellness centre with sauna, steam bath and hot tub.
The accommodation available has undergone renovation work in recent years to give a complementary feel despite retaining rustic features such as exposed wood and slate.
With rooms for couples and families available, it provides a fine base for a Swiss winter adventure.
Ski Accommodation
The hotel provides guests with a range of different accommodation options, from single rooms for those who are travelling alone through to double and family rooms - the latter being able to sleep four thanks to a set of bunk beds in a second bedroom. Rooms come with flat-screen TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and safe, with some also have access to a balcony.
Meals
Guests can sit down each morning to enjoy a plentiful breakfast buffet, with evening dine available at three different eateries. The Pinte is a typical Valais style restaurant that serves local cuisine, with the Arvenstube being the place to visit if you are looking to sample international and Mediterranean delicacies. As the name suggests, Vegistube is a vegetarian option that also caters for those on a vegan diet.

The Matterhorn really is the most iconic mountain in the Alps, and Zermatt is right underneath it so you are guaranteed the most sublime views, what with the Dom and Monte Rosa too. Skiing heaven here and one of the longest seasons with super-reliable snow so miss a trip here at your peril.
