About Hotel Excelsior
The Hotel Excelsior is a cosy family-run hotel which sits in a prime location just 250 metres away from the centre of Zermatt.
That means easy access to the various shops, bars and restaurants within the resort, whilst , you are also sure to enjoy spectacular views of the Swiss Alps - including the iconic Matterhorn.
Available to book on Half Board and Bed & Breakfast basis, the Hotel Excelsior has options for everyone with a varied range of accommodation options.
The restaurant uses local produce wherever possible in the restaurant, and where meals reflect a mix of French and Swiss cuisine. The wine list also has a local flavour, with plenty of options from the surrounding area.
Ski Accommodation
Rooms benefit from impressive views of Zermatt and the surrounding area, with those to the South offering the chance to marvel at the majestic Matterhorn. Junior Suites are the largest rooms and can sleep four, and are available on request.
Some rooms include balcony with all benefitting from cable TV, minibar and a safe.
Meals
Breakfast takes the form of a hot and cold buffet each morning, with dinner being a four course affair inspired by French and Swiss cuisine. Guests can stay on both Bed & Breakfast and Half Board basis.
