About Grand Hotel Zermatterhof

The Grand Hotel Zermatterhof is a beautiful 5-star hotel that is situated in the heart of Switzerland's popular ski resort of Zermatt.

The front of the hotel has a lovely grand entrance with a covered area and stands out in the resort of an evening, with the pretty lights that are around the entrance and each window.

The resort and town centre is just a 10-metre walk from the hotel, so you would not need to go too far to enjoy the many bars, restaurants and many shopping opportunities.

500 metres from the hotels front door is the main ski area, where there are nursery slopes and a ski school and the ski lifts to take all budding skiers and snowboarders up into the mountains, for a thrilling day on the slopes.

It not just skiing and snowboarding to enjoy, there are many winter activities to try out and for those looking for something with a much slower pace can enjoy the beautiful scenic trails for snow trekking and capture those breathtaking picture postcard photo opportunities.

The grandness of the hotel flows all the way through the hotel, with elegant rooms with exquisite decor and also has a modern twist to some of the rooms, including the two lounge and bar areas and the guest rooms, to give guests that home from home feel.

In the evening, guests can enjoy the many culinary delights that are available in the restaurant and dining hall, with a choice of menu and many that would appeal to families with children.

Ski Accommodation

The 78 guest rooms are spacious and have lovely modern pine furniture.

There are storage options including a modern desk, with a vanity mirror, and on top of the desk is a flat screen TV which offers hotel information and satellite channels.

The guest rooms also have a mini bar, in-room safe, telephone, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, en-suite bathroom, bathrobes and a hairdryer.

There is a choice of twin and double rooms and there are junior suites, which has a south facing balcony and will incur an additional supplement.
