About Chalet Lou Trave
Chalet Lou Trave is a beautiful traditional style chalet that is located in the heart of Meribel, one of France's popular ski resort.
If guests take a walk through the picturesque streets for approximately 10, they will get to the resort centre, where there are many bars and restaurants, which offer family friendly entertainment or the lively apres ski can be enjoyed as often as you would like.
There are also many lovely shops selling everything from gifts, to locally produced traditional food and there are many ski shops selling and hiring equipment and high-quality ski wear.
The main ski area is a little further, just 1.2 km away from the chalet and the lifts give skiers access to the ski slopes and there is a ski school and nursery slopes for those learning to ski for the first time. The ski bus stops just a few minutes from the chalet, so guests can easily get access to the ski area and also back, so they can return to the chalet quickly and the relax in the sauna or hot tub before they get ready for a fun evening ahead.
The shuttle bus runs a regular service throughout the day and into the evening and the streets and resort centre light up of an evening to show you the way home.
Inside the chalet are beautiful exposed timber beams, terracotta floor tiles and the spacious lounge/diner with an open fire gives guests that cosy and homely feel. Double doors open out onto a spacious balcony, where you can catch the sun setting behind the mountains and many spectacular photo opportunities.
The chalet host will prepare your meals throughout the day in the kitchen and there are supermarkets close by, should you need to buy essentials, other than the planned menus for each day. Chalet Lou Trave is everything you would expect in a traditional chalet, that is set amongst the snowy mountains and it is a great choice for families and groups of friends and also couples that enjoy getting acquainted with other skiers on their skiing vacation in Meribel.
Ski Accommodation
The chalet sleeps up to 15 guests in 8 bedrooms and the sleeping and spacious living areas are located on three floors, offering en-suite facilities and some rooms also have balconies for guests to continue to enjoy the breathtaking views.

Meals
Meal standards at the Chalet Lou Trave are set very high, and staff are all extensively trained pre-season.
Breakfast is provided with the option of a cooked breakfast or a continental choice. Afternoon tea is also provided with unlimited tea or coffee accompanied with a slice of homemade cake. Dinner is a 4-course meal with canapes and an aperitif followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, completed with coffee and chocolates. During mealtimes, unlimited complimentary wine is served. A cooked breakfast is not available for one day a week as this will be the chalet hosts day off.
Children’s meals are served separately and a healthy menu tailored towards children's tastes is offered.
