About Chalet Estrella

Chalet Estrella is a traditionally built alpine chalet. Built using local wood and stone, it is built to blend in with the surrounding chalets. The interior has an inviting open fire to help guests relax after a day on the slopes and the use of wood panelling and exposed beams gives Chalet Estrella a true alpine feel. The chalet has an outdoor hot tub to ease those aching muscles and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Guests can enjoy the fresh fruit bowl throughout their stay and on arrival they will be greeted with a warm Vin Chaud.

In an excellent location, the chalet is only 500 metres from the village centre and 300 metres from the escalator, which takes you to the centre of Courchevel 1650 and the lifts. The Ariondaz and Marquis lifts will take skiers to the ski areas and the Marquis, accesses the slopes of Courchevel 1850 and the 3 Valleys ski area.

Courchevel itself is made up of 4 villages in the northern tip of the 3 Valleys area. There is a free bus service that links all 4 of the villages and runs from early morning until around 1am, making it easy for tourists to explore the other villages.

Skiing in and around Courchevel Moriond (1650) is suitable for all standards of skier with a total of 119 runs and plenty of off piste action. The area above 1650 is particularly good for beginners with plenty of long green runs to conquer before advancing to the selection of blue and red runs including the Chapelets run, which is ideal for intermediates. There are some good off piste areas and some nice tree lined runs with lovely scenery.
