About Chalet Alaska

Chalet Alaska is built into the hillside and is a split level chalet incorporating a clever design of wood and stone with a warm atmosphere of a wood panelled living area and traditional stone fireplace. The resort centre is just a 4 minute walk from the chalet. The nearest piste is 150 metres, and the Chaudannes and Paquis high speed chair-lifts, giving skiers the choice of either side of the ski area, are only 300 metres away. The areas of Tignes and neighbouring Val d’lsere are ranked very highly in skiers top ten resorts. Apart from the ski runs, both villages have a lively nightlife with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a choice of non- skiing activities.

Chalet Alaska has a sauna and hot-tub on the terrace, perfect after a day on the slopes. The chalet accommodates up to 26 guests in bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Guests can enjoy their meals, which are freshly prepared in the kitchen, in the dining room.
