About Chalet Aiglon

Chalet Aiglon is located on the second floor of the building, with Chalet Chamois occupying the first floor. It is in a splendid location with large picture windows opening onto a large sun terrace with views over the lake and the mountains beyond, which at night-time are floodlit.

The resort centre, ski lifts and pistes are about a 5 minute walk or a 2 minute bus ride. Tignes le Lac has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a lot of non-ski activities including a swimming pool, ice rink, bowling and nightclubs.

Tignes le Lac is one of three resorts that make up the Tignes ski area. Located by the lake with wonderful views all around, skiing in the area is great for all levels and abilities. Nearby, are some excellent nursery slopes for beginners and easy access to the Espace Killy runs, where more experienced skiers can enjoy some challenging slopes with breathtaking scenery to add to the enjoyment.

Ski Accommodation

The chalet is furnished with a ski room with heated boot warmers, equipped kitchen, living area, dining area, sauna, twin and double beds, shower, balocny and a terrace.

Meals

A skier’s day should always start with a hearty breakfast. Guests have the choice of a hot breakfast (traditional English) or a cold (continental style) option. Tea, coffee and fruit juice is also supplied. After a busy day on the slopes, nothing is nicer than a welcome home cup of tea or coffee accompanied by a slice of freshly baked homemade cake. The main evening dinner is a 4-course meal starting with canapes, aperitifs, a starter, main course and dessert.
