Hochgurgl

In Obergurgl & Hochgurgl it's high-level skiing - that's altitude we're talking about, regardless of your abilities. With pistes from 1800m to 3080m, in the Ötztal Alps, the cable cars in these two Austrian resorts start their ascent where many finish, promising snow from November right through to early May.

In a stunning landscape of mountains and glaciers, there are 110 kilometres of beautifully groomed pistes, served by state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars which start right in the villages so access to skiing and snowboarding is easy. Many of the hotels are right on the slopes so you have the convenience of doorstep skiing.

The Top Express Gondola links Obergurgl and Hochgurgl so you can extend your skiing experience. It's a relatively quiet area so you won't be held up by queues here. There's a whole range of red and blue runs for your delight. It's absolutely ideal for beginners and improvers. Off-piste and ski-touring are great here. For extra challenge you can buy an additional pass and get over to Sölden for the day by bus.
