Folgarida is close to the Campiglio ski area and a great option for anyone planning to go skiing for the first time - or with children as part of your group.

That's because of the fact that the resort provides access to a range of beginner friendly slopes at the top of the main gondola, with a number of blue runs available without needing to go over to the main Madonna di Campiglio ski area - where there are plenty of slopes for intermediate and expert skiers.

Those who enjoy snowboarding will also be well catered for.

If you want a busy evening scene, this might not be the resort for you - with a relatively small number of bars and restaurants. At the same time however, this is part o the appeal for those who are looking for some peace and quiet when the sun goes down and don't want to party until the early hours...

Activities like snowshoe walking, Nordic walking, outdoor ice skating and snow biking are all available when you aren't on the slopes, alongside the various facilities offered by the different hotels.

Family Skiing in Folgarida

Folgarida is a great option for those who are travelling with children, with a range of family friendly accommodation, a high quality ski school and a nice sized beginner area around Malghet Aut. Right next to the Malghet Aut lift, is the Family Park Folgarida. There are several magic carpets, a carousel and a gentle slope that’s great for kids to practise their turns.

Apres-ski options within the resort are limited, with a handful of restaurants if you fancy dining out that tend to specialise in traditional Italian fare such as pastas and pizza. NIghts out tend to be relaxed and informal with a small collection of bars.
