Colfosco

Colfosco is the sister resort to Corvara in the heart of the Dolomites and offers access to the popular Sella Ronda circuit and the expansive Dolomiti Superski.

The resort is well suited to beginners thanks to a large number of nursery runs - which then lead into the more challenging terrain found relatively nearby. Should you be an expert skier, then you may be better to take a look at somewhere like Selva - which is around 30 minutes away.

There are a number of large hotels within Colfosco that will cater for all manner of different budgets, with plenty to keep guests entertained whilst they are not busy on the slopes. That includes children, making it a good option for those who are enjoying a winter trip with children in tow.

Although there are a number of restaurants for those people who want to eat out, the number of bars is relatively low when it comes to apres-ski offerings - although you can access Corvara with ease should you want to sit back with a beer on an evening.

Off Piste Skiing in Colfosco

Colfosco is a good resort for those who enjoy heading off piste, given the easy access to the wider Dolomiti Superski area. The Val Mezdi off piste run ends near the resort.

Family Skiing in Colfosco

Colofosco is a great place to head with children, with the resort being relatively quiet and plenty of excellent nursery slopes that are both wide and gentle. From there, a range of intermediate options are available for those ready to progress to the next level but which aren't too challenging.

Colfosco isn't a resort to visit if you want to party, although there are a small selection of bars and restaurants beyond those found within the various hotels.
