About Sportresort Alpenblick

The Sportsresort Alpenblick is one of the top options for a break in Zell am See, offering everything you could possibly need for a top class winter break in the Austrian resort.

The hotel is located around 20 minutes walk from the centre of the resort and twelve minutes or so to the nearest gondola, although there is a ski bus stop located outside the front of the hotel which means you can access both with ease.

The train station is also nearby for those arriving by rail.

Accommodation is made up of various twin rooms that can sleep up to six people, all of which is booked on a half-board basis.

As well as the impressive restaurant and bar, additional facilities include heated indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam room and fitness room, a games room, entertainment programme, kids club and massages and beauty treatments (the latter two at additional cost).

Ski Accommodation

Accommodation comprises of a wide selection of twin rooms which can be set up to sleep as many as four people and which differ in size as a result. All rooms contain Austrian twin beds - a large frame with two single mattresses - with additional sleeping space being through either sofa beds or bunk beds. Some rooms come with a balcony whilst all are non-smoking and have a TV, telephone, fridge, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and safe, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities.

Meals

The hotel operates on a half board basis, with guests able to enjoy a hot and cold buffet breakfast each morning followed by a six-course evening meal with salad, soup, cheese and dessert buffets.

Set by a lake, usually frozen in the winter months, overlooked by a unique horseshoe-shaped mountain, Zell am See's setting is stunning.

Skiing here is splendid on the slopes of the 2000m Schmittenhohe, with the added attraction of the Kaprun glacier on Mount Kitzsteinhorn, a short bus ride away. Breathtaking views at 3000m, fabulous skiing.
