About Hotel Pointe Isabelle

Hotel Pointe Isabelle is named after a British lady, Isabella Straton, who explored the Alps in the Victorian era with her husband who was a local guide. Her grandchildren opened the hotel, and its name still survives. Located in the heart of Chamonix, Hotel Pointe Isabelle displays wallpaper and carpet in Isabella’s honour and has been renovated in a modern style.

Conveniently located in the centre of the resort, the ski bus stop is 3-minutes’ walk from the hotel and the train station is only 120 metres away. The beginners ski area of Savoy is approximately 5-minutes’ walk with a drag lift to take you up to the Brevent gondola. There is a ski bus that links the five main ski areas.

The sun catching terrace is a place to relax and enjoy the fantastic mountain views. Hotel Pointe Isabelle has a bar/bistro where dinner is served including British and Scandinavian cuisine. Massages are available on the rooftop (pay locally).

Hotel Pointe Isabelle has 45 rooms sleeping 90 guests. The twin or double rooms have wet room, TV, telephone and a balcony with views of the mountain.
