Meals

All staff are trained pre- season in food preparation and have attained a City and Guilds Level-2 Qualification in Food Safety. Main meals are served 6 days a week, allowing staff 1 day off per week.

All skiers will agree, a good hearty breakfast is the best way to start the day. A cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage and beans), or a continental option (cereals, porridge, cheese, cold meats, croissants and preserves), is offered. Tea, coffee and fruit juice is also served.

After a good day on the slopes, what better welcome than a nice cup of tea/coffee accompanied by a slice of freshly baked homemade cake.

Children are served with a High Tea at 5.30pm. Meals are tailored to children’s tastes, and pureed food for infants is also available on request. Children do not eat at the adult only dinner, unless they have received a child discount and the meal upgrade charge has been paid at the time of booking.

The main meal consists of a 5-course dinner including canapes, aperitifs, starter, main course and dessert, followed by coffee and chocolates. A selection of quality, complimentary wine is served during dinner.

About Val d'Isère, France More information

More Britons choose Val d'Isère for ski holidays than anywhere else in the world so that's a good recommendation in itself. The resort has a long season, thanks to the added attraction of the Pissailas glacier at high altitude, so make the most of the opportunity between the end of November and the first week of May.
