About Hotel Helga

One of the most popular hotels in Seefeld, This, small but friendly hotel is run by the Kratzer family. Helga, and her husband Franz, offer their guests a warm welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. Hotel Helga is a 6-minute walk from the centre and the ski bus stop is 100 metres away. Sleeping up to 40 guests in 20 rooms, Hotel Helga has an amazingly friendly atmosphere. Some of the facilities include a sauna and infrared cabin which is free to guests and a solarium (pay locally).

Seefeld is an ideal place for both skiers and non-skiers. Set on a sunny plateau close to the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck, it has twice hosted the Winter Olympics, and has some of the best cross country tracks in Austria. There are 80kms of cleared walks and guests can take excursions to Salzburg, the Bavarian castles and Italy. Seefeld also hosts an Ice Festival. There is also a spectacular scenic train service into Innsbruck.

Après-ski in Seefeld is lively and the Olympic sports centre offers a host of activities to choose from. Sleigh rides, curling, swimming, indoor golf and bowling, to name but a few. There is no shortage of bars and restaurants, as there is a choice of almost 50.

Ski Accommodation

Hotel Helga has 20 bedrooms and sleeps up to 40 guests.

Standard Austrian* twins have a bath or shower. Those with a shower also have a balcony.

Larger superior Austrian* twins have a bath or shower, balcony, mini-bar and a seating area.

Singles rooms have shower and are available on request.

All rooms have cable TV, telephone, safety deposit box, bathrobes and hairdryer.

*Austrian twin beds have a double bed base, with single mattresses, bed linen and duvets which cannot be separated.

Meals

Hotel Helga serves guests many organic products at meal times.

A hot or cold buffet breakfast is served daily.

Dinner is a 4-course evening meal with a choice of main dish including vegetarian plus a salad buffet.
