About Hotel Haus Gurgl

The Hotel Haus Gurgl is located in the lively resort of Obergurgl. This family run hotel is just 200 metres from the Festkogl lift and next to the ski school meeting place and the nursery slopes. The resort centre is 5 minutes away. The Festkoglbahn gondola is the gateway to the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area.

The Verwall Gletscher Spa is where you can relax and enjoy a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and soothing massages and beauty treatments. There is an on-site ski shop where you can hire equipment, an elevator to get you to the higher floors and Wi-Fi is available, perfect fro staying in contact with those back home.

Obergurgl, in the Otz Valley is Austria’s highest parish. Framed by high altitude peaks, it has an excellent snow record and some of the most snowsure skiing in Europe. Off the slopes, Obergurgl is largely unspoilt with charm and character. A great selection of bars, restaurants and apres-ski going on until the early hours. If you want the best views in the resort, take the gondola up to the iconic Top Mountain Star restaurant where you will find panoramic views of the Otz Valley Alps and the Italian Dolomites.

Ski Accommodation

All spacious rooms have a balcony with mountain views. Bathrooms have a bath or shower, WC, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The living area has a satellite TV, telephone, radio, seating area and comfortable Austrian twin beds. These are a double bed base, which cannot be split, with two single mattresses, duvets and bed linen.

Meals

The on-site restaurant serves a range of hot and cold buffet dishes for breakfast and a 4-course evening meal with Austrian and international dishes. Between 3 and 5pm, the hotel offers tea and homemade cakes for a snack after a day on the slopes. At lunchtime, guests can head to the Belmonte Pizzeria and enjoy a wood fired pizza or fresh pasta, complimented with some homemade tiramisu.
