About Chalet La Source

Chalet La Source is a beautiful and unusual chalet, being built into the rock face, which is visible throughout the chalet. The ski lifts are in the resort centre and are just a 6-8-minute walk away. Nursery slopes for beginners are wide and gentle and there are hundreds of pistes offering challenges for advancing intermediates to expert skiers. Famous runs such as the Swiss Wall and the World Cup Downhill Black run will keep advanced skiers busy. A complimentary minibus service is available to and from the ski lifts.

Sleeping up to 12 guests in nicely furnished bedrooms with en suite facilities. All bedrooms have wonderful panoramic views of the area. The attractive lounge area leads to a fantastic terrace with hot tub where guests can relax after a day’s skiing, and watch the amazing winter sunsets.

Meals

A good hearty breakfast is the best way to start your day. A cooked breakfast is offered (eggs, bacon, sausage and beans), or a continental option (cereals, porridge, croissants, cheese, cold meats and preserves). Tea/coffee and fruit juices are also available. After a fun filled day on the slopes, what is better than a welcome cup of tea/coffee and a slice of freshly baked homemade cake. The main meal is a 4-course dinner including canapes, aperitifs, starter, main course and dessert, followed by coffee and chocolates.

About Morzine, France More information

What a gem of a place Morzine is! It's a lovely Savoyarde town with an authentic Alpine feel, perfectly situated in the huge Portes du Soleil ski area - one of 12 resorts, in fact. That gives you a good idea of the scale of the region and the opportunities for skiers and snowboarders - and some.

Portes du Soleil spans the French-Swiss border so...

  • Good for Families
  • Good for Non-skiers
