About Chalet Hotel Champs Avalins

Located at the foot of the La Daille slopes in Val d’lsere, Chalet Hotel Champs Avalins is in a prime position benefitting from the fact that the lifts are on hand to whisk you up the mountain, and you can ski back to within 50 metres of the hotel. The Espace Killy ski area, which is world famous, connects Val d’lsere with Tignes, where some of the highest peaks of the Savoi Alps can be found. Of course, Val d’lsere itself is a charming old village that comes to life at night with its array of bars, restaurants, a nightclub, health centre and shops.

Chalet Hotel Champs Avalins accommodates up to 83 guests in well-appointed guest rooms, many of which have balconies south facing with views of the piste where the World Cup Downhill run finishes. It also boasts an attractive restaurant on the first floor with views over the piste.

Ski Accommodation

Chalet Hotel Champs Avalins has a ski/boot room, bar/lounge area, reception desk, dining room, kitchen, restaurant, double & twin beds and most of the rooms have a balcony.

Meals

The most essential meal for skiers is breakfast. Here, guests have the choice of a cooked breakfast (bacon, egg, sausage and beans), or a continental option (cereals, porridge, croissants, fruit juice, cold meats and preserves, and unlimited tea/coffee.

After a morning skiing, what is better than a welcome home with afternoon tea/coffee complimented with a slice of homemade cake. Dinner is served as a 5-course meal with canapes, aperitifs, main meal and dessert, followed by chocolates and coffee.

About Val d'Isère, France More information

More Britons choose Val d'Isère for ski holidays than anywhere else in the world so that's a good recommendation in itself. The resort has a long season, thanks to the added attraction of the Pissailas glacier at high altitude, so make the most of the opportunity between the end of November and the first week of May.
