About Chalet Ecureuil

Chalet Ecrueuil is set in the picturesque hamlet of Le Fornet. Accommodating up to 6 guests, it is ideal for a family or group of friends. Being only 5 minutes’ walk from the main Le Fornet cable car, Chalet Ecureuil has excellent access to Val d’lsere’s large ski area and good skiers can ski back to within 150 metres of the chalet. The world-famous area of Espace Killy links Val d’lsere with Tignes, linking some of the highest peaks of the Savoi Alps.

The key features of this chalet are the light and delightfully furnished living/dining area and the large sun terrace overlooking the river and facing a westerly direction so guests can relax watching the setting sun. Other luxurious touches include a sauna, a jetted bath and a double headed ‘Italian shower’.

Ski Accommodation

Chalet Ecrueuil has a kitchen, living area, dining area, TV, sun terrace, sauna, Italian shower, multi-jet bath and twin beds.

Meals

All skiers need to start their day with a good wholesome breakfast. Hot or cold, guests have a choice of a cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon sausage and beans, or go for the continental option of cereals, porridge, croissants and fruit juice. All washed down with tea or coffee. After a day’s skiing, what better to come home to than a cup of tea or coffee with a slice of homemade cake. Dinner is a 4-course meal that includes canapes, aperitifs, a main meal and dessert, and to end the evening guests are offered chocolates and coffee.

About Val d'Isère, France More information

More Britons choose Val d'Isère for ski holidays than anywhere else in the world so that's a good recommendation in itself. The resort has a long season, thanks to the added attraction of the Pissailas glacier at high altitude, so make the most of the opportunity between the end of November and the first week of May.
