About Chalet Chanterelles

Located in the centre of La Plagne 1800, this recently refurbished chalet is in the perfect position for the slopes and he shops, bars and restaurants of the resort centre. The ski slopes, ski school and lifts are all just 40 metres away. The traditional stone and wood chalet sleeps 14 guests in twin rooms with en suite facilities. An added bonus is a sauna for those après ski moments after a grueling day on the slopes.

La Plagne 1800 is in the French Alps and is the perfect place for skiers of all abilities. It is part of the Paradiski ski area which boasts over 425km of downhill skiing. Skiers can use the Vanoise Express, which will take them to Les Arcs with 200km of slopes. Plagne 1800 is a great resort for beginners and intermediates with a variety of nursery slopes and good blue and red runs. The fantastic scenery skiing through the areas forest runs offer skiers plenty of off piste opportunities.

Après ski in the area can be as lively as you wish. There are plenty of bars offering evening entertainment. One of the favourite haunts as Le Mine Bar, which has an outside terrace with superb views and regular DJs and live music. The popular eating places are Mamma Mia’s for great Italian food, and La Loup Blanc offering local cuisine plus fantastic steaks.

The chalet is furnished with twin or double beds, dining area, lounge, fireplace, kitchen, ski & boot room and a relaxing sauna.

Meals

A good breakfast is always the perfect way to start your day. A cooked breakfast is served with a choice of bacon, eggs sausage and baked beans. A buffet style option is available including porridge, cereals, preserves, cold meats and cheese. Tea, coffee and fruit juice is also available. After a day on the slopes, a welcoming cup of tea or coffee awaits with a slice of freshly made cake or biscuits. A 3- course evening meal starts with a glass of Prosecco followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert.
