About Chalet Capricorne

The Chalet Capricorne is part of the fabulous Altitude Val 2400 residence in the Balcons area, which is a peaceful spot, just 1 km from the resort centre and the lively town of Val Thorens.

Val Thorens is one of France's most popular ski resorts as it caters for families, couples and also groups of friends that are looking for those days full of skiing and snowboarding and the nights that are full of apres ski drinks and events.

Non-skiers are also sure to have fun-filled days and nights and family fun can be enjoyed at Europe's highest cinema, or why not try a game of bowling.

The ski slopes and lifts are no more that 500 metres away and there is a shared ski room and boot rack for the guests to use.

Onsite there is a ski shop that also offers equipment hire, as well as some of the latest fashion branded ski wear.

Because the chalet is part of a large building, it offers a grand entrance that lights up in the evening and the Chalet Capricorne can be found on the second floor, which is accessible via the lift.

The open plan lounge and dining area is modern but still offers that traditional flare throughout with the wood panelling on the walls and ceiling, a cosy open fire and doors that open out onto a balcony for guests to enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountainous landscape.

Guests have use of a sauna and there is also a family friendly bar onsite that is open until late in the evening.

The bedrooms all have many storage options are spacious and some have the bonus of a balcony with stunning views.
