Pas de la Casa

Pas de la Casa is a vibrant purpose-built resort with a well-earned reputation of being a bit of a party town.

Just across the border from France, Pas de ls Casa is the highest ski resort in Andorra, which plays a big role in the reliable snow record throughout the season - with large investment in snow-making equipment also having a major impact on the levels of snow that are to be found across the resort.

From Pas de la Casa, there is access to three valleys, including the lovely wooded Grau Roig, whilst the resort is also linked to Soldeu - giving a total of 186kms of piste.

Pas de la Casa is best suited for beginners and intermediates but there are some quite challenging black runs if you like more of a thrill - try the Slalom for a steep and bumpy descent, or the run from the top of the Mont Malus drag. Snowboarders can have a fun time in a park and half-pipe on the Grau Roig side and plenty of unpisted terrain.

You also don't miss the floodlit skiing on the Font Negre every Wednesday night to ski and improve your technique, whilst there is also great value night life available.

Off Piste Skiing in Pas de la Casa

It isn't all that easy to access, but you can find plenty of off-piste action during a visit to Pas de la Casa, which means that expert skiers who are on the hunt for that increased challenge during their winter adventure will be well catered for.

Apres-Ski in Pas de la Casa

Nightlife? Yep! Lively? Yep! Pas de la Casa is certainly the place to go for fun times.

Apparently some people call it 'Ibiza on Ice' and with loads of bars and nightclubs open until the wee small hours, it's easy to see why. Restaurants for every taste offer cuisine that ranges from local Catalan dishes to pretty much every sort of international meal you could think of (with a few exceptions).

You could try a fondue at El Gargantua, all-you-can eat ribs at El Fogo Negre, or - if you really can't tear yourself away from fast-food chains when you're abroad with the chance to try out new food - there are plenty of those bearing familiar names from home.

Non-Skiing Activities in Pas de la Casa

Pas de la Casa is known as a shopper's paradise for people keen to make the most of low tax and duty-free prices to pick up a bargain to take back home.

For those who want to stay more active whilst off the slopes, there's a leisure centre with a swimming pool, or try snowmobiling, paintballing, ice driving and lots of other snow-related activities.

Adrenaline junkies might also enjoy a trip on the impressive zipline at nearby Canillo.
