Niederau is a picturesque ski resort that sits in the Wildschönau valley and is one of the top options for a winter break in Austria.

The best known of the two ski areas that sit within the valley, Niederau features a varied range of different options for visitors of all levels – with beginners and intermediate level skiers being particularly well catered for.

Whilst there are black-rated runs for the more experienced skiers, the challenge of nearby Auffach – which can be accessed by a free bus service – may hold greater appeal.
