About Rimrock Resort Hotel

The Rimrock Resort has some of the best views in Banff, due to its location overlooking the Bow Valley and Banff Town. The hotel has a huge hot tub, spa and sauna. Outside, weather permitting, there is an ice skating rink, and fire pits where you can toast marshmallows. Food is available at the Primrose restaurant or the Eden restaurant, the only 5 Diamond- rated restaurant in Western Canada.

Rimrock Resort has 346 bedrooms all being well furnished with good facilities. Downtown Banff is about a 30-40-minute walk, but there is a free public bus service that runs every 40 minutes. Also, the hotel provides a private shuttle bus to and from the ski bus stop.

Banff is in Alberta, in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and provides excellent skiing for all abilities. The three-ski area of Banff Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise is ideal for skiers of all standards, with plenty of nursery slopes for beginners and lots of runs for the more experienced skier. Altogether, there are more than 200 runs covering 125 miles, with woodland runs and the most magnificent scenery you could wish for. One interchangeable lift ticket can be purchased, which includes easy shuttle transport between the hotel and the three ski areas.
