About Chalet Louisa
Chalet Louisa is in the Altiport complex above the Les Bergers area of the resort. The resort centre is about 1km away, and the ski school meeting point and the Marmottes gondola are 200 metres from the chalet. In normal conditions, Chalet Louisa is a ski in/ski out chalet.
Offering a perfect, quiet location, the chalet is built using local wood and stone, giving it a traditional alpine feel. A large balcony offers panoramic views of Alpe d’huez and there is the added bonus of a hot tub and a sauna. There is complimentary Wi-Fi, beautiful open fireplace, TV and DVD player as well as ski storage. If you have travelled by car parking facilities are available.
Alpe d’Huez caters for all levels of skier. With 249km of pistes, the area sits on a south facing plateau with fantastic views above the clouds. Wide gentle runs for beginners can be found just above the village. Intermediates will find an excellent choice of blue and red runs down to the neighbouring villages, while more advanced skiers can conquer one of the longest black runs in Europe (La Sarenne) with the challenging Tunnel run testing their skills.
Après-ski in Alpe d’Huez is quite lively with a good selection of bars and restaurants in the centre. Non-ski activities in the centre provide plenty of things to do including a swimming pool, indoor golf, a spa and gym, archery and tennis.
