About Chalet Aries
Chalet Aries is a delightful chalet is located in a peaceful setting, set back from the busy resort centre, for guest to enjoy the natural landscape in the very popular resort of Val Thorens.
It is located in the Altitude Val 2400 residence in the Balcons area, which is just 1 km from the resort centre, where there are an abundance of fun things to keep the whole family entertained throughout the day and also into the evening, including many non-skiing activities such as bowling, a leisure centre and if you enjoy going to the cinema, why not try out Val Thorens, which is one of Europe's highest cinema venues.
In the resort centre, you can find many restaurants from casual dining and fast food to many fine dining establishments with breathtaking views of the valleys.
The ski slopes are just 200 metres away from the chalet and a little way further are the ski lifts that take the more experienced skiers and snow boards into the mountains for a thrilling day on the slopes. Those who have not skied before can enjoy the ski school with a number of fun ways to learn to ski on the nursery slopes and there are also many fun activities such as tobogganing, sledging and snow hiking to be enjoyed if you do not wish to take up skiing.
Chalet Aries has a grand entrance and is based on the first floor. It is a perfect place for a small family or group of friends to not only to spend time on the slopes but to enjoy a glass of the local wine or two in the spacious open plan lounge and dining area with a balcony that looks across the resort and the stunning mountainous backdrop.
Inside, the traditional flows beautifully with the exposed brickwork, the open fireplace and the timber cladding on the walls and ceilings to give it that cosy cabin feel.
The bar which is located in the main building is available to guest staying in all of the chalets and it is a great way to meet some of the other guests and maybe swap some fun ski stories and for the children to meet up with their newly found friends.

Meal standards at the Chalet Aries are set very high, and staff are all extensively trained pre-season.
Breakfast is provided with the option of a cooked breakfast or a continental choice. Afternoon tea is also provided with unlimited tea or coffee accompanied with a slice of homemade cake.
Dinner is a 4-course meal with canapes and an aperitif followed by an appetizer, main course and dessert, completed with coffee and chocolates.
During mealtimes, unlimited complimentary wine is served. A cooked breakfast is not available for one day a week as this will be the chalet hosts day off.
Children’s meals are served separately and a healthy menu tailored towards children's tastes is offered.
