About Hotel Schloss Lebenberg

The Hotel Schloss Lebenberg has stood above the rooftops of Kitzbuhel for more than 400 years. It was opened as a hotel in 1967 with the addition of a new building and was finally renovated in 2008. The hotel has now combined the magic of a bygone era, shown in its heritage-listed tower, with the luxury of a new century.

Some of the facilities offered to guests include an indoor swimming pool, a spa and wellness centre, 3 saunas, a fitness centre and an infrared sauna. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast with a choice of dishes, and in the evening, a variety of Austrian dishes are available with a selection of wines. Kitzbuhel is a beautiful medieval town in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol with a large ski area spread over three sectors. One of the sectors is the world famous Hahnenkamm, one of the scariest downhill race circuits on the World Cup circuit. This is where the Austrian superhero Franz Klammer won four times. In reality, Kitzbuhel has 215 km of slopes suitable for all abilities, but with a lift pass, this can be extended to include the SkiWelt ski area, which gives skiers the option to ski across the border into Switzerland.

Ski Accommodation

Rooms and suites are beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Most rooms have a balcony with mountain or forest views. Amenities include a private bathroom with bath or shower, WC and a hairdryer. The living area includes a telephone, mini-bar, flat screen TV with satellite channels, safety deposit box, sofa, wake up service, desk, dining area and Austrian twin beds.

Breakfast is an extensive hot and cold buffet with a variety of choices. Dinner is an excellent 4 course evening meal with a choice of 3 main courses and a salad buffet. Dinner is served with a choice of fine wines.
