For advanced skiers there are a few black runs like the men's Olympic slalom run from Birgitzkopfl. May try your hand at the off piste routes from the top of Hoadl which is led by a guide. Long cruising pistes can be found at the Glungezer area at Tulfes. For a more varied terrain, the Stubai Glacier has 1,474m of vertical and Schlick 2000 above Fulpmes is accessed via a gondola and t-bar lifts.

Snowboarders are not forgotten, there is a snow park to play in and practice tricks. The long tree-lined runs into Gotzens and Axams are perfect for snowboarders with natural jumps.
