Wengen sits on a sunny, sheltered terrace at the foot of the Jungfrau, with spectacular views. This mountain village is traffic free so everyone arrives for their skiing holiday in Wengen by mountain train. Much more atmospheric than the usual road journey!

The Jungfrau area ski pass covers Mürren and Grindelwald as well as Wengen itself. On a skiing holiday in Wengen, skiers of all grades can delight in the area's vast expanse of pistes and beautiful scenery. The village nursery slopes are ideal for youngsters and beginners. Intermediates get their thrills and spills on a great selection of satisfying reds in the Kleine Scheidegg and Männlichen area. Confident skiers tend to head for the breathtaking Eigergletscher not to mention the Lauberhorn race run. The famous race itself is scheduled for 14-16 January 2011 - the world's ski champions take to Wengen's slopes.

Non-skiers can take advantage of the resort's excellent winter walking, plus there's ice skating, curling and plenty more fun and activities off the slopes.
